Most Expensive Football Shirts sold on Ebay (this past few months, January 2024)

This list might make you want to clear out your Grandad's loft and check if he has any old Football shirts! because Football shirts, especially Match worn shirts are going for a pretty penny these days! Every month I shall be posting a blog on how much shirts have sold for on eBay so we can see overtime how much prices have increased. Note that some shirts have had best offer accepted so there is no real way to tell what they actually sold for. 

The eBay links will expire over time so I have added screenshots and/or details of how much the shirts sold for and when! This is more of a guide than anything else.

All the seller wrote on the description was

"Extremely Rare Celtic Umbro 1979 match-worn / player issue change/away jersey , long sleeves with the iconic Umbro brand sleeve taping , wing collar with heat transfer double diamond umbro logo and embroidered crest. Club’s first ‘shiny’ jersey .

The shirt was worn in matches during the 1979 season and is in excellent condition . No number.

Even though this shirt was Was in a frame for 35 years and has little holes due to being pinned inside the frame. It still went for a whopping £3,155.00. 

It’s safe to say that Manchester Shirts out of any other team in the world, so anyone that collects united shirts has a better chance of making a bigger profit in the future.

Extremely rare Scotland match worn tournament shirt, Ally Mccoist v Germany in Euro 92, the shirt is 100% genuine and comes from the collection of manfred binz, who mccoist exchanged shirts with after the game, and was purchased along with others by the original vendor, I have a letter detailing this from him, which any buyer will receive with the shirt.

A rare and handsome item, there’s not many tournament shirts that come up for sale, especially from ally mccoist.
