Condition details - Adidas trefoil, JVC sponsor and Arsenal crest all still lovely and bright, material is amazing with only two or three snags and a mark which I point too near JVC, overall excellent condition.
Notes - Famous 'bruised banana' design away kit worn from 1991 to 1993. This shirt has become one of Adidas's most iconic templates and has gone on to inspire art, fashion and numerous 'copycat' kits. George Graham's side failed to win a trophy during the shirts debut season, falling out the F.A and League Cup at the third round stage and finishing 4th in the First Division. The second season brought more success as The Gooners won both domestic cup competitions, however they slumped to a 10th place finish in the Premier Leagues foundation season. The design was also memorably worn when Ian Wright scored a hat-trick on his league debut away to Southampton. This was the last Adidas shirt to sport the 'trefoil' logo in English football
