Notes - Home shirt as worn in the disappointing season where manager Ray Harford was replaced by caretaker coach Tony Parkes in October. Rovers suffered a dramatic fall from grace for a side that was crowned champions just 18 months ago, starting the season with no wins in 11 games which saw the club rock bottom of the Premier League in November. Parkes did manage to turn results around and secure a 13th place finish for Blackburn. After the departure of Alan Shearer in a £15m deal to Newcastle the side struggled for goals, with the responsibility lying with Shearer’s former strike partner, Chris Sutton, who top scored this term with 11 league goals
